1974 VW Beetle 1600 - SOLD

Here we offer for sale a 1974 VW Beetle 1600 in absolutely stunning 'wow' original collector condition throughout.

This car was imported by us from South Africa a couple of years ago and is now back up for sale due to the owner no longer being able to drive. In South Africa it was always garaged from new which has helped keep it in outstanding original condition and during that time it's one and only lady owner covered a mere 96,000km (60,000 miles).

The body is in exceptional original shape and has never been welded and is rust free throughout, exactly as it left the factory, no dents or accident damage ever. The completely original Gold paintwork gleams and the colour really complements the curves of the Beetle well. The chrome is outstanding condition never having seen inclement weather. Wide 5 Rostyle alloys and tyres are in excellent shape and suit the car really well.

The 1600cc engine has recently been serviced and performs really well on the road easily keeping up with modern traffic whilst making that unique phut-phut air cooled whoosh.

The interior is in superb condition with very little sign of wear anywhere, it doesn't get any better than this. Seats, mats, headlining, dashboard and switchgear all in supreme shape.
