1965 Morris Mini SOLD

1965 Morris Mini Saloon Mk1 recently imported from inland South Africa.

Runs and drives but in need of minor restoration.

Very solid shell with sub frames, sills and floors all appearing to be in good original unrestored condition with just the battery tray having corroded from leaking acid in need of replacement. 

Obviously not the original factory colour and it was painted purple back in the day when it was fashionable many years ago in the 1970's. Roof spoiler is riveted on and of course the look would be hugely improved with it's removal.

Hot climate doors with wind up windows and opening front quarter lights.

Interior is scruffy, seats will need re-trimming and the wiring will need tidying but it is an easy project and good opportunity for Mini enthusiast to build a Mk1 to specification.

Engine is 9AK series 998cc.
