1975 Mini Moke 1360cc - SOLD

Here we have for sale a real fun car which is essentially a Mini Moke hot rod.

This 1975 Moke was manufactured in Australia and was one of a batch of originally imported by the South African Defence Force.

It was re-commissioned around 10 years ago and painted in the classic Gulf Blue colour scheme. It runs an uprated 1275cc 'A' Series engine bored out to 1360cc with a modified head, larger valves, improved porting and an unleaded conversion. In order to cope with the extra power it was fitted with uprated front disc brakes from the 1275GTS Mini. A lower front windscreen and frame (original frame comes with car) completes the look.

It has just been serviced and is on the button, ready to roll when Spring arrives. 

As you may imagine this car really flies and is real fun to drive, guaranteed to put a smile on your face. It comes with the vinyl top but is best enjoyed as a fine weather car with the roof off.

The previous owner for many years was the Chairman of the South African Mini Owners Club and it is a very well known car in Mini circles over there.

Should appeal to Mini enthusiasts and race teams alike - not for the track of course, but as a stylish way of getting around the paddock and pit area that will get you noticed.
