1985 Honda Prelude 1.8 EX

We offer another fantastic low mileage South African imported classic that was always been garage kept by it’s previous one owner from new and is in superb original condition throughout.

The mileage is 68,000km (just 42,000 miles) and we have full service history from new with stamped original handbook - the most recent last year when every filter, fuel, air etc and every fluid including radiator, brake fluid, engine oil, gearbox oil together with plugs and CV boots were changed.

The Mk2 Preludes were amongst the first regular production cars to have ABS fitted as standard and this 1829cc 3 valve per cylinder engine is super sweet, reliable and economical as well. Automatic gearbox suits the car well and factory sunroof is a nice option.

It has 12 months MOT with no advisories and is now UK registered. Tax and MOT exempt from April 2025.

It performed faultlessly and was a pleasure to drive on a recent 180 mile extended test drive.

Japanese cars of the 1980’s are becoming incredibly sought after and prices are firm even in the softer market at the moment. This must be one of if not the best original examples of an Mk2 Prelude left in the country.
